The Fashion Speak : Denim Is Here To Stay

Dust off those Canadian tuxedos and channel your inner denim goddess with me as we prep for a season full of jean-inspired looks. There are some trends that will just never go out of style and I am here to proclaim that denim is one of them! Denim is timeless, not in a Chanel pearls kind of way but in an effortless cool kind of way, you know?

For me, this season has been all about exploring different ways to wear mainstream trends such as the ooOOhh-so-popular suede, fringe and leather looks that dominated the runways during fashion month. Denim is no different. It's all over major retail stores and it has flooded the pages of Vogue. It's not going anywhere other than in your closet.

Instead of wearing the high-rise Mom jean or the past-its-prime jean jacket, I have opted to go my own route with denim. I found the perfect dress for those of us who want to embrace one of the hottest looks this season, that will still be cool next season.
