The Fashion Speak x göt2b

I used to hate oversleeping not because I would be late to class but because I would have to sacrifice my hair routine for a messy top-knot. I had an all-or-nothing mindset when it came to hair and I felt that if I wasn't using a ton of products along with my straightener then I was slacking. Oh, how times have changed.

Nowadays, I pride myself on my ability to roll out of bed and do very little to my hair to get it the way I want it. Thanks to products by got2b, it only takes about fifteen minutes (or less) each morning to create my signature waves.

I love the way got2b accentuates my shoulder-length locks with just a dab of Pomade and Dry Shampoo. If you are reading this thinking that you couldn't last a day without your blow dryer, flat iron or curling wand then it's probably time for you to get a haircut.

While it helps that my hair is naturally wavy and that I get the BEST haircuts/color from Ahmet at Salon Simis, I have formulated my own hair hacks with got2b to get me through the earliest of mornings. What I love the most about got2b is the multi-use advantage their products have over other brands.

My current got2b obsessions are the volumizing powder, the dry shampoo, the beach waves spray and of course my go-to defiant shine pomade. Of course it sounds like I just named a ton of products but keep in mind I don't use them on a regular basis.

For example, I use the dry shampoo in between hair washes. If you're washing your hair every day I suggest you stop and opt for dry shampoo instead, it allows the natural oils to lock in moisture while maintaining a clean, texturized look.

The only product I use every single day is the pomade. After showering at night I allow my hair to dry on its own. In the morning it is wavy - which I love - but I like to tame my fly-aways and occasional frizz by rubbing a dab of the pomade onto my fingertips then tousling the product through my hair, focusing on the roots.

I receive regular compliments on my hair and people are amazed to find out how little I actually do to it. If you're looking to re-vamp your hair routine I urge you to buy one of the products mentioned in this post. Remember, less is more when it comes to hair care but you just have to know what products to buy.
