Minimal Jewelry With A Message

Jewelry trends come and go but there are certain pieces that seem to never go out of style. Stackable rings and long necklaces are two of my favorite trends and are ones I have been wearing for years as they remain hot items in the jewelry world.

The simple addition of a long necklace takes a basic white tee shirt (of which I have tons) from plain to pretty. My favorite long necklaces are either gold or silver and have minimal detail. This preference is what drew me to popular pieces of Fortune & Frame, seen in WWD and Refinery29.

I am a huge fan of the Envelope Fortune Locket in gold. Not only does this necklace elevate my white tee, it also makes a meaningful statement with a fortune that says, "let disruption and discomfort be your guides," the fortune written by F&F founder, Gretel Going.

Much like my favorite F&F necklaces, my favorite rings also have a signature meaning as well. In 2014 the Manhattan-based brand launched their On the Mend collection, a line that symbolizes all things broken, rustic and put back together again. I like the Bandage ring in gold. I recommend mixing and matching the rings - I love to stack the Barbed Wire rings in rose gold and gold for a delicate yet edgy look.
