It's incredible to feel your body change from the inside out. It starts out soooOoooOo slow and you begin to feel like you'll never see results but then all of a sudden you feel brand new. It's amazingly invigorating for more reasons than one.
They say it takes approximately 21 days to form a habit and since we have 366 days this year, there are virtually no excuses as to why we can't make a change. It's daunting and believe me the first week was not very fun. However, once you get into a routine and actually form a habit of taking care of yourself properly, you forget that you've even made changes.
It's different for everyone, though. I want to encourage you to concentrate on your own progress and if you do happen to compare yourself to someone else, only use that energy for motivation rather than anger or jealousy.
As we dive into week five (rhyme time), I want to outline a few #GOALS to work towards:
- Wake up earlier than usual
- Workout 30 minutes longer than usual
- Keep a food journal to track what you eat
- Relieve stress with a massage, facial or mani/pedi
- Pat yourself on the back every single day because you are fabulous
I am informing you all "fabulous information"
